The Dabbler

This person is eager to try something different than what they are currently getting from their conventional medicine provider. However they are unsure if it will work or if they really want to go down this path. They may have questions such as:

What is the success rate?

How many treatments will it take?

Is it covered by insurance?

They want these facts before they commit and will tend to be skeptical at the start of treatment. We welcome some healthyskepticism. We were once skeptics too before we experienced the amazing results of integrative healthcare. The best thing you can do is educate yourself on both the anecdotal and scientific research for your condition or symptom. Just remember, that scientific research can sometimes be lacking for some treatments. Don't let this lack discourage you. It sometimes takes the scientificcommunity a few years to catch up and validate some things that seem very basic in clinical practice.
