While this was a great introduction to the human body and hands on therapy, it wasn't enough for her. For her she fet there was more she could do to help people.

Dr. Brown fulfilled her career goal when she received a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. In her training she focused extensively in clinical and didactic principles of Acupuncture, Nutrition, and Pediatrics under the supervision of prominent doctors in the field.

One of her most fulfilling moments as a medical student was the opportunity to work with low-income and under-served populations.  Shortly after graduating from medical school she became a Teaching Assistant for Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr Brown joined the team at Southwest Integrative Medicine in 2011. As a Naturopathic Doctor, her areas of interest are Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Nutritional Counseling, Pediatrics and Geriatrics. She thinks of herself more as an advocate for health, focusing on helping patients establish and maintain healthy lifestyles.  Her desire is to educate and partner with her patient’s to be accountable for their own health. Dr. Brown devotes a portion of her time away from her practice to community outreach promoting health and wellness in the low income and church communities.
